Founder of Gtech.Guru supporting Google for Education as Education Lead, Philippines

Mary has been working with companies in the Philippines since 2010 in their initiatives to move to the cloud. She spearheaded “Islands in the Cloud” which is a project to bring all the DepEd K12 public educational institutions in the Philippines onto Google Workspace for Education. Since then, she has moved to help many other schools go Google, and help them plan and execute their professional development roadmap. She is currently working with Google for Education as the Education Lead for the Philippines. With web-based learning becoming the norm, Mary is also an advocate for Chromebooks, to provide schools with devices that give students, teachers, and administrators a simple solution for fast, intuitive, and easy-to-manage computing.

Mary is a Google for Education Certified Innovator, Google for Education Certified Trainer, and a Google Deployment Specialist devoted to promoting innovation and web-based learning in schools, extending educators’ learning networks, and helping teachers with their drive for a more student-focused curriculum. She is a hyper tech coach that provides real-world insight on educational projects based on her entrepreneurial experience in various industries. She is a learner and a problem-solver who likes to put her ideas into action as quickly as possible, and believes in finding new ways to improve and create.
